NEW HAVEN —Today, US Representative Rosa DeLauro issued the following statement following news of additional Israeli strikes in Lebanon, including the capital of Beirut and the historic city of Tyre:
WASHINGTON – Today, U.S. Representatives Rosa DeLauro (D-CT-03) and Lori Trahan (D-MA-03) introduced the Developing Oversight for Nutrition through the Official Regulation of Milk Act or the DONOR Milk Act, legislation that would better protect the nation’s supply of donor human milk – a lifesaving resource for premature and medically fragile newborns. The legislation is introduced in honor of World Donor Milk Day, which is May 19.
Yesterday, U.S. Representative Rosa DeLauro (CT-03) voted to pass the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act, a bipartisan package of bills to build more affordable housing nationwide. The bill passed the House by a vote of 396-13.
